1) What we collect

We collect only the data needed to provide FocusBloom features:

Account and profile

• Name and email (from Google sign-in)
• Optional profile details (e.g., year of birth, gender, condition, meal frequency)

Assessment and game activity

• MMSE session data (scores by section, total points, timestamps, completion status)
• Game sessions (level, score, accuracy, moves, mistakes, time spent, completion status)

Sensor-derived and interaction data (processed on device)

• Tap speed metrics
• Focus/attention metrics (blink count, gaze pattern, distractions, focus duration)
• Tremor metrics from device sensors (count, duration, magnitude)
• Ambient noise level (no audio recordings)

Location (optional)

• Coarse location may be used to infer your city for the MMSE orientation question.
• We do not store your precise GPS coordinates.

Permissions

• Camera: used for on-device facial analysis (e.g., blink/gaze metrics).
• Microphone: used to estimate ambient noise level (no audio saved).
• Location: used to validate the city question in MMSE (optional).
• Notifications: used for reminders if you enable them.

2) What we do NOT collect

• We do not store or upload raw video, images, or audio recordings.
• We do not sell your personal data.

3) How we use data

• Provide the app’s core functionality (assessments, games, reports)
• Generate in-app insights and progress summaries
• Improve app performance and reliability
• Provide support when you contact us

4) AI and on-device processing

FocusBloom runs AI models on device to generate insights from your game and assessment activity. Outputs may appear in reports. These models do not require uploading raw camera or microphone data.

5) Where data is stored

FocusBloom uses Google Firebase (Auth and Firestore) to store user accounts and session data. Data is stored on Google’s servers and subject to Firebase’s security practices.

6) Sharing

• Service providers (e.g., Firebase) to operate the app
• Legal authorities if required by law

We do not share data with advertisers.

7) Data retention

We retain your data as long as your account remains active. If you request deletion, we remove your account data from our servers within a reasonable time, unless we must keep certain records for legal or security reasons.

8) Your choices and rights

• Update your profile in the app
• Request data deletion by emailing support@imktechnologies.com
• Deny permissions (some features may not work fully)

9) Children’s privacy

FocusBloom is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10) Changes

We may update this policy. If we make changes, we will update the effective date and, when appropriate, notify you in the app.
